Press Release: NH Steward Announces Grassroots Conference Major Presenters

National leaders in politics, business and new media to headline day-long series of workshops on January 30

CONCORD, NH – NH Steward today announced the major presenters for its “Grassroots Communication in the 21st Century” conference. With national experts in politics, business and new media slated to make presentations – including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich – the January 30 day-long conference promises to be New Hampshire’s pre-eminent conservative organizing event of 2010.

While the Granite State is famous for its old-fashioned brand of grassroots politics, there is a growing importance of embracing emerging methods of communication to reach voters, constituents and activists. This conference, which is free to New Hampshire residents, will empower participants with the basic tools necessary to harness and excel at these new methods of communication to disseminate a conservative message, organize and mobilize online.

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich said: “In Summer 2008, American Solutions gathered the signatures of 1.5 million Americans who supported our ‘DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW, PAY LESS’ campaign in support of offshore drilling – an online-grassroots achievement that created the momentum that led to the repeal of the Executive and Legislative Branch bans. I look forward to discussing with New Hampshire conservatives how to utilize new media to drive our message of safety, prosperity, and freedom and spur people to demand real change from their government."

In his post-Speaker role, Gingrich has become one of the most highly sought-after public speakers, accepting invitations to deliver remarks before some of the most prestigious organizations in the world.  Because of his unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Gingrich is able to share unique and unparalleled insights on a wide range of topics.  He also is the author of 19 books, 11 of which have been fiction or non-fiction best-sellers. Gingrich is Chairman of the Gingrich Group, a communications and consulting firm that specializes in transformational change; he also serves as General Chairman of American Solutions for Winning the Future.
